This is my mates new project. Was painted a few weeks ago. He is currently waiting for the auto trimmer to fit out the interior. He didn't know how to post pics so I posted them for him.

This thing is going to turn some heads when finished. It looks fat with those 315s on the rear.

What a ripper. The matte black rocker covers and air filter housing really set it off, and those Simmons are awesome; never seen them with dish!

What's that black hose that runs along the firewall under the wiper motor? Is that filled with wiring or something? Looks quite discreet; I like it.

are they 10's or bigger on the back?

yeah looks great, nice and tidy..

also keen on engine bay look.. 350 fits well.. amazing how there is soo much clearnace either side..

think its because its a smaller angle between the "v" of the banks.

Nutboy is rapped with all the responses he will post soon when he works out how :spoton:

ALX76, yep its a chev 350. There have been some comments on the clearance on either side of the engine. As far as I know the chev and 308 have the same 90deg angle on the banks. The difference is the head design and lower rocker covers on the chev make them narrower across the banks. Correct me if I am wrong and if I am I know I will cop it.

Engine is quite healthy, and has propelled the LH donor car to a 11.7 @ 116mph pass at WSID.

The headers are custom made, they were sourced from another unfinished project so came at the right price. They are 4 into 1s, 1 7/8 into a 3 inch collector. They are a very tight fit.

Heath, your are correct that black hose is the wiring loom.

LOWS2 and Makka, wheels are 17 X 8 on the front and 17 X 11 on the rear. Rear tyres are 315/35/17 (Nutboy will correct if I am wrong)

Racean69, I am sure Nutboy can arrange some more pics.

The trimmer wants to do something special with the interior, looking to forward to seeing the finished product.

Stevo, the exhaust currently stops just before the diff where it is flanged. Once the car is complete he will get some custom tailpipes made that will weave around those 315s and drop tank.

Thanks Makka (chevs 90 deg)

Here is a short sound file recorded from inside the car. Luv the chev This was recorded on private property. If you listen in the background you can hear the holley blue sounding like its being choked within an inch of its life. I had forgotten how loud those things are :D
