Ceramic Coating

Just wondering if anyone has had their headers ceramic coated.I have been told it is great for an old set ,as it extends their life and looks better than rusty old pipes and lasts a lot longer. It also has benefits like getting heat out of the engine bay.Has anyone had it done and if so where did you get it done.I had a quote from Tuffy Mufflers at Zetland in Sydney for $370 to get a set done.Anyone had experiences they wish to share.
Thanks

MRNOS...what is HPC ?? and how does it compare pricewise. Please let me know.
Tiny..thanks for the info..I rang them today and they quoted me $396 for both the headers.
Makka..It would almost be worth sending them to VIC for that price..I wonder why they are so much cheaper ????
Thanks again..

Its dear in Sydney but freight to Melbourne or Brisbane is probably $50 to get them there and back, so sometimes not worth it

Thanks again to anyone who replied to my querie!!
I ended up going to Tuffy's at Zetland. The headers came up a treat.
They were acid dipped ,sandblasted, any repairs made and then coated. The best way to describe them ,is they look like they have been chrome plated, but obviously not as shiny.A massive improvement on how they looked before I sent them off. Almost a shame to bolt them onto the motor and get them dirty..
Cheers
Oh well thats one less thing to do..only a million other things to go !!!

I forgot before my price was for new pipes, think it was $30 more for old pipes as they need to clean them before blasting.
What was the total cost btw?
Got a piccy of there finish?
