Was awesome to get out cruising last night mate - your beast sounds unreal. What's the details on the exhaust system?

First motorkhana down with the new brakes super impressed in go to whoa was braking pretty much in line with mates focus rs didn’t place very well for the weekend but had a ball none the less tyres are getting on a fair bit now also found the front end rubber McKay bushes are already shot after a couple of years and minimal driving

Heading down the SuperPro route this time after not having much faith in rubber

It is a shame that the McKay ones are no good. I just fitted them to my front end as I am trying to keep it looking original.

have just finished up rebushing front end with superpro bushes yet to get an alignment but feels way better also fitted up a kmac rear sway bar all that along with the new front brakes car is becoming alot nicer to drive

Holden HQ HJ HX HZ WB to AU2 298mm Brake Upgrade Hubs, Calipers, Brackets & Brake Lines KIT 5X120.65 link for the brake package i went for was super budget friendly for what you get all up cost me about 1k

also have finished off fitting the nitrous kit yet to get it dialed in but should make next years racing return exciting

would love to have raced with nitrous this year but due to getting married next march ive decided i dont want to thrash on it before wedding if i can help it so just light cruising until then will try find some photos of all the latest goodies

Love your work Ryan. Front-end re-bush, sway bars, and brake upgrade are all items on my own to-do list, haha! Your brake kit sounds awesome.

Once the wedding's done, can't wait to hear how you go with the nitrous.

seem to have finally nailed the starter issues haunting me also fitted up a airbagman set of airbags inside the coils working perfectly stiffening up the rear just a touch.

finally fitted the vt alternator no more voltage drop issues with everything running.

took the car up to bright rod run over the weekend with a wheel alignment during the week car has honestly never felt better to drive with all suspension and steering adjustments drove out to mount beauty and the car didnt really miss a beat

next up get the nitrous dialed in and some new slick and i think a weekend trip to adelaide is in order unless heathcote gets sorted out before then

ended up using a cvr starter had to take just over 5 mm off the mounting block to get good teeth engagement but it seems to be behaving now did lots of work of the weekend and didnt fault despit the flex plate already having a few marks on it from last failure

Yeah I hate starter motors with a passion when they don't play ball with proper engagement. Fingers crossed you have solved that one once and for all.

My chassis rubbers didn't last 4000kms, so sticking Superpro in now, too, glad to hear they work well. I don't want to use too uch grease, as grease mixed with dust/dirt makes for excellent grinding paste, but don't want squeaky rubbers either. How hard did you go with the grease?

Great to see you getting it out and about.

I’ve only ever put a small amount of grease in and never had any issues they usually supply heaps more than needed
I did a touch over 400ks the last 2 weeks in it no squeaks at all even drove in heavy rain with no issues even with the front runners on
