G'day All

 

Well, what can we say about Toranafest 2017 but "WOW"

 

Once again successfully well run by the Hunter Valley Torana Club

 

Congratulations to the hard working members 

 

Every trip to the fest starts out with the journey to get there and these two South Aussie characters dropped in for a visit the day before our start for the drive

 

 

Our 2nd stop on the drive was the truck parking bay on the Westlink and as there was a herd, um gaggle, um school, um group, um, well gathering of Toranas, there needed to be a director of parking 

 

 

Some of these thirsty V8's needed a top up so a tanker was called in 

 

 

This one needed the radiator topping up with water as the radiator was bubbling over

 

 

We thought the site of so many good looking Toranas had brought in the media with the Channel 7 chopper

 

 

But there was something dangling from underneath 

 

 

Now it was either to fill up this fella's radiator

 

 

Or as it was getting onwards to fire restrictions, to put out this fella's cigarette 

 

 

Oh well, time to head off

Next stop, Wyong Caltex Twin Servos and not a bad line up if I do say myself

 

 

OK people, hands up for those who want to get back on the road to Toranafest

 

 

I said hands up, not the finger up Wayne 

 

 

All ways a bit of time for a quick tidy up

 

 

AND this fella must reckon I am the No.1 photographer for taking his photo 

 

 

Well that's what I think one finger up means 

 

AND believe it or not, Toranafest attracts drivers from overseas

 

 

Well, Tassie is over the sea from Australia

Thanks for that and I hope my seat massager I gave you did not give you too much pleasure with the vibrations, nudge nudge, wink wink    AND the laughing, well I've still got a smile on my face from the weekend when i think about that
