Hi Fellow Torana Members / Gurus,

I’m in need of help to replace the headlining in my LJ GTR Torana, And really have no idea how to do the job. Yes I have contacted several mobile headlining shops close to me in the Sydney 2770 area but it seems they either don’t do cars of this age or want both my kidneys / looking to retire on their next job in order to do it, Naturally with me supplying the new headlining. So I’m Preying / Hoping there’s somebody who has done this job before and willing to travel out to my home to help that can come to my rescue. Happy to pay $$$ or I even have some rare XU1 parts as trade for your time. Any Help or Contacts Will Be GREATLY APPRECIATED, I’m at a standstill and getting quite desperate to have this done so I can move on with the rebuild.. Many Kind Thanks For Your Consideration. Andrew.

Hi Andrew.have you looked in Marty’s build.maybe there’s something in there to help you have a go..been long time since I’ve looked on here but guys use to use pinch weld to hold it all down to position  then when you got it looking good  glued it down...i can’t remember which bar they put in first.

Heaps of bulldog clips are very useful in test fitting & setting up the headliner in the window and door openings.

Thanks Dave as always You are a walking text book of all things LC—LJ Torana, Bull dog clips are a better and more effective way of clamping into place.  Cheers Sir.
