Unknown Bracket

Looks like an alternator/AC bracket? Dunno?

I could be wrong but it looks like an A/C compressor mount bracket from a Holden 6 cylinder engine.

I think this one is factory Commodore as it has the different engine mount.

This was also my thinking but not sure. Hopefully some one will positively identify it.

I don't think 6. 6's bolt to the side of the block/head. That looks more like V8 that bolts to the front of a head.

I had a similar bracket on a 308 with a Sanden compressor. Compressor on top, Alternator underneath.

 

It bolted to the head and the water pump.

 

The two short spacer tubes are for the bolts into the water pump. The long spacer tube bolted the drivers side head.

Thanks for your reply but I am pretty sure your bracket is different again.

Looks similar to the one on my old VC SLE with original A6 style compressor
