are they 17inch westcoastcustoms?

I think at the end of the day its up to you... Do u want to sell it in the near future?

Are all the mods u plan to make reversable? (ie easy swap back)

Cheers

Matt

Yes,standard is boring ,I have ran 202's in LC/LJ's with 3x2" SU's,3x45mm Webers 3x48mm Webers ,Huge cams,But the V8 does it easy and that sound you can't beat it .they were made to run a V8 (ask Harry)"Not the Kingswood",Chris, come on ,at least a Premier thank's Steve.

Go V8 then...Though you will need wider rear wheels and possibly mini tubs :tease: .

I like your wheels as they are now, could do with more dish and definitely big brakes to fill them out.

back to standard, better that way as it's a tagged car...
also worth more money.
then just get a toy car that you can mod the hell outta.

keep em' true if they afre tagged.

well my thoughts anyway,

but at the end of the day it's your car....................

Don't listen to them Steve. They sound older than you the way they are carrying on. Just because its an 82911 doesn't mean you aren't allowed to have fun in it. A stock 202 with single bbl strommy, M20, 3.08 single spinner is far from fun. You know how much the V8 makes an LC/LJ. Keep stockpiling the original parts and if you have to sell, do the one day swap back to original. Don't ket the missus know how much you could get for it or she'll be on your case to put it back to original and sell it.

I forgot to say, taking this car back to orig, you'll have the drama I have being a good body and paint in an original GTR colour but not the right one for the car. Mechanically a V8 back to 6 cyl conversion is a one day job but a colour swap? I don't think so, not if done properly anyway. You've done enough paint work to know that. If mine and your original JL blocks come up off the wanted thread I put on here then for sure take it back to original as an all numbers matching car. Until then, drive it more. I wish I could drive mine, lucky they are in pieces or I'd be too tempted. Only 12 weeks to go but I'll miss driving to Toranafest, I'll have to get a lift up with you in this beast. tuffgong is supposed to be there with the flat tray 427 LC ute!

if it was mine id ditch the xu-2 stickers on the guards, get some fatter tyres for the rear and just cruise it.

of course at the same time id be collecting the mechanical parts as they came up so that i could have the option of turning it back to stock if i so desired/wanted to sell and make some $$$'s
