I have 858 listed as Youngs Holden of Victoria Park W.A. but I don't have any dates recorded so not sure if it was actually them around the time in question?

I have a 9/75 HJ probable Sandman recorded sold by dealer 858 but ordered through the Adelaide Zone Office (A), on its VID Cert it has Youngs WA Pty Ltd Victoria Park. It was sold in October 1975. Of all the cars I have recorded against 858 which is 12 of them, 11 are the Adelaide zone office, one is the WA zone office (5) which is a February 1978 HZ van. I wouldn't be surprised if it is Stock Order vs Retail Order or maybe Dealer Order or something like that.

I have 852 listed as Lance Gibbons of Gosnells W.A. but again, no dates recorded.

I only have 4 x cars credited to 852, all A zone office. Two HX and two HZ. No VID Cert though.

Lance Gibbons was where Tim Slako bought his L34 from. So 1974 is a certainty.

Here is confirmation for dealer 836 in 1975. The attached car comes up as sold by 836. Telfer & Carson Pty Ltd. Long trip for an Acacia Ridge assembled cab-chassis, which would have been an Elizabeth body too.

Mosman Park closed mid HQ. The thing about this car is its body was Elizabeth, the hard trimmed and painted body travelled from Elizabeth. The chassis would have been welded together in Dandenong West and freighted to Acacia Ridge. It was assembled in Acacia Rudge and sent over to Perth. Then back east a bit to the dealer. For an ordered car this would never have happened, it would have been built at Elizabeth. But this one looks like it might have been a stock order, and the WA dealer has sold it out of plant stock, it was completed in the first few days of February and delivered in May. It has a few mechanical options:

L20
M22
G80

Otherwise standard, so front drums and 3.55 rear axle. The consecutive PSN vehicle was also L20, M22 but it had front discs and no PSD, it was also a stock order. I actually have its tags off a wreck from many years ago. Kinda like winning lotto when you get to record consecutive vehicles.
