Wow, what a huge day ! :bliss:


First i set up the P/A systems for main field and dyno, then the launch comp startline truss, was also one of the judges for the car show, drove mumstaxi in the launch comp (anyone got any mumstaxi footage/pics of this ?) then went on the dyno, ( DYNO RUN ) and somehow found time to eat, and spend 5mins with the family, then pack up n drive home, no wonder i was tired on Sunday night ! :ZZZ:






The number of cars was exellent (heaps of Torries as well) talked to heaps of people and had a great time all round.

The quality of cars made judging less than straight forward to say the least.

Very deserved winner ^ the engineering and attention to detail under your bro's car, put it ahead of the next closest contender. :clap:




Love that Pro 500 orange hatch, that is a weapon , if its the same car I seen at the drags while back.

I think it is, the owner said it ran 9's "without" running the "Juice" :blink:




It was nice to chat with some forum members as well :spoton:

Thats the car, lifts the front wheel for a good 25 mtrs, and the hatch opens itself at the same time, off the line.

I heard that intake on MR LX is a Group A set up???
That was my second favourite car of the day!

I got a bit of dodgy footage, I'll try and get it up tomorrow.
Spewin I didn't take my digi camera, I would have got heaps of pics, especially of that V6 T bucket!!! WICKED!!!!

Not much, 'bout 2 mins worth of the 1st launch comp. I missed the T Bucket spinning it, just got him driving away from it. Got your first run, but your second one was better. I wanted to get more but I get carried away with watching without the camera, I reckon you miss too much if you're trying to film everything. Still, got a few good skids on film. A couple Torana's in there.

Anyone get some pics of that Model T???

Yeh second run i hit rev limit in 1st and so punched 2nd gear,went a bit sideways then :D .... did it make any smoke ?

Hilux on the dyno - won this one was top horse power 4 cyl (dyno was open to all - torana's had there own section) made 190 on its best run (yeah so it may have a turbo... lol)

magna on the dyno - sadly top hp for 6 cyl. . . . . . (only had 127hp)

That is the old Redcliffe Dyno, Street machine of the year car. Very tidy car. i did heaps of paintwork on it when those idiots put that stupid twin turbo , blown engine in it. Good to see it is in good hands now

What a shame that that Magna took out top 6cyl, jesus. How much did it cost to go on the dyno? And why didn't anyone talk to bloke with that gorgeously presented trayless tonner to go on the rollers!? lol

What do the plates on the orange LJ in discussion mean?

Looks like a top event anyway. It'd be nice to have things like that down here!

Wow, that looks like a killer car show! I love the take-off challenge! That would have been a fair bit to organise! I wish there were events like that down here!

Lmao it was pretty tragic bout the magna - I know cause its my car. Dyno was $30 for 3 runs - i put it up cause it was a cheap dyno run and i wanted to see what my car had... :P

What was the torana N/A six top horse power? my lc 202 with an untuned 350 holley made 137 horseys
Getting 2inch triple su's this weekend cant wait to seen then how much power she has :)
