I had a look at every RTS LX badge I could get my hands on and a couple of NOS ones and I couldn't find any differences between any of them. I did get the verniers out and there is about 0.040" difference in length so about 1mm from the original to the remade, not 3 mm like I originally thought with the poorly calibrated eyeball.

As previously stated

Any closer to knowing when the 4spd knob will be ready? I am waiting to get one?

No sorry we are still trying to work with the manufacturer to fix the problem, hopefully we may know something by early Dec

Hey Les, what happens when you get something like this made? Do you supply them with the original and say please make these the same?

That happens in some cases unless specs. are required and then we supply the specs. and drawing if possible. In this case we supplied a NOS sample and drawings

Makes you wonder what they are doing then if you supply them drawings and a NOS sample and they can't get it right? Must frustrate the crap out of you, especially with all of us (i'm probably the worst) asking whats going on.

It doesn't appear to be the same as the Rares one I bought, and I recently bought one off ebay claiming to be NOS, but when I got it, as good as it was, it's 0.070" smaller than an OLD one thats worn....

We are still in negotiations with the manufacture but no good news as yet , we know they can make them as we did get very good samples , but unfortunately the shipment was not up to the mark. We sold off a batch of the faulty ones to a guy who was going to repaint and polish them this could be one I don’t know I also don’t know if anyone else has reproduced them

the one I bought from EBAY looks to have the right font, not the same as the Rares ones, but it is smaller. The threads in the nut look new.
