Man I can't wait to see/hear this thing up and running. That intake looks the business, if I didn't have my Harrop blower sitting on top I'd fit that on there any day. Looks tough.

Better than the plastic intake for sure!

Why choose that style intake versus a front mount throttle body style, out of curiosity ? (like mine in the Edelbrock, and a holley does now too)

i wish i could put a blower on it.i've been looking at prochargers.also looked at 6/71's but cant really drive it down the road like that.

jeff,i like what you have, and if it fitted without a hole in the bonnet,i'd buy one :driving: and i would for sure if it ends up with a blower on it!

i'm sort of trying for a retro type tuff torana, i like the old mini tubs/welds/sbc/glide type car. this is just my take i spose.i wanted the newer bits to still look old and 'traditional' so to speak.

Bring it over here, then you could drive it no matter what you did to it! :D

And I hear you on the intake choice, the "old school" sort of look too...makes sense !

And after building an LS1 with a blower (kenne bell, intercooled one) that is an awesome way to go for sure, and I would have if I had the spare $$$ laying around, but went with my manifold instead sorta as an upgrade from the factory piece at least and something that will help with some power in the eventual combo as well.

Sure is looking good though...

My Harrop blown & intercooled ls1 still all fIt's under the bonnet. Had to massage 1 bonnet rib though for the intake pipe. But its got about 10mm clearance in a few places.

Hey Moot

A while back i saw a picture of your rear seat and you had covered the back area in fibreglass, what was the reason for that? Is your new rear seat going to be fibreglass base with whatever material on top?

Hey moot have you got any pics of the rear end setup, both under the car & in the boot area? You may of posted them in here already but some of the pics don't load in this thread. Even if you could email them 2 me. I'm having a hard time working out how I'm going to finish of tubbing my car, I've only got as far as cutting part of the std tubs out.
Cheers Nig.
