It is great to have people like Rory who are really into Toranas in the right way - building a car that is detailed and professional is a real credit and will only increase the interest in these great cars.
I love Toranas, but I'm as useless as tits on a bull when it comes to doing practical things, that's why I have to buy cars that don't need much work! At least I drive them hard and don't leave them locked in a shed!
Now Rory, if you want to build a replica of the HDT L34 Sports Sedan, that would be something special. Or one of the prettiest hatchbacks around was the Johnny Rutherford, Janet Guthrie car that Bob Morris' team ran at Bathurst in 1977 - The same colour scheme as the car MHDTIXT374 runs on his 4 door in Group C. I loved that paint job in '77 and it still looks special. That paint job without the signwriting would look great on the street.

Does anyone have a pic of this car?

How did you get on with the Alloy Radiator?
btw I have my Chamois LX Hatch 308 back from the panel beaters and I am in the process of putting it all back together. I found a few wiring faults along the way. This car has now been off the road for 5 years, but I have only owned since Jan 07. God I'm glad I become a motor mechanic a few years back... Started my apprenticeship at age 38!! It comes in real handy knowing how to fix things.
and last of all... did you happen to speak to a guy called Clarrie at the Hillclimb, Moffat XB Falcon Coup?
