Id much rather a brand new multi strand cable than an unknown, cutoff cable with ends put on it regardless of who does the work.
Andys car is a great piece of engineering, but for most of us, the level of engineering and costs associated are beyond our budgets. The whole car modifying scene is.built.on ingenuity and using whats available to make things work yourself within your means.
If I never mentioned my cable was a bike cable, mo one would pick it and theyd all think id payed five times the price....
As for the growing up comment, pot... Kettle much?
You resorted to the circus and clowns comment

got the clutch setup in a breeze, just having troubles putting the brake rod pin back on... can't get it to split back...
the clutch is nice and soft..

my uncle came back around yesterday morning and re aligned the door and just did a few small patches of bog back on the quarter the hinges probably needed new bushe's but it does align up a lot more better.

i also finished welding and bogging the inner guards, and got them into primer this afternoon...
will try and paint them tomorrow arvo after work

also got rid of the mirror holes as i have the rod wing mirrors

and this is the way that we are trying with the chassis rail,

as you can see it still needs to be finished...
and i think i need a new camera as the photo's are all #@$^%& up...
the ute snug in the now clean shed.

also sent my engineer papers off today, looks like the chassis mod should pass, as its only a subframe on the actual cab, as long as the actual bolt on chassis is not touched i should be alright to pass
Mate !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whats with all the action ???
Have you had a spiritual awakening, or is because Oparah has now finished that you have more time on your hands ?
Keep up the good work.

my heaterbox came out shit, whats the best way to paint it, i rubbed it back with 120 and then 400 and then plastic primed it and it came out lumpy like shit just using normal 2-pac like i had done the inner guards with
and also whats the best paint to use to paint the engine and accesorys? VHT heat proof paint?

a pic tells a thousand words mate
it may have "fried" you using acyrlic primer under 2 pac?
you remove the prepsol before painting?
you clean everthing before you primed?
and engine enamel/heat proof paint will be fine

please dont shoot me down in flames, but i have bought a set of commo stud adaptors, as i wanna run decent wheels and not pay a million dollars,
You will not be able to register or insure the car with stud adaptors. You could end up owing a million dollars.

My bro used the hub adaptors years back and pursuit rims rubbed on the rear with 225's... SS/HSV rims had no chance on the front.
Just a heads up
