Might be a bit thirsty and hard to live with though - your planned combo should be very cool......

I am pretty sure I remember it is the same I was thinking of painting mine but when you showed pics of your engine bay it looked a bit light so I was thinking of either changing or getting the painter to add a bit more black.
It does look good though mate, what happened to the cage, is it going back in?
Would be good to see in person once its buffed up, will look like glass!

thegts,go for a walk in a mazda dealership, its mazda 3 aurora blue, but we did play with it a little but i dont think it made any difference.
the cage will go back in after its been on the road a year or so,i'm sort of stuck at the moment, all i want to do is drive it and race it,but its a little to nice to do that as often as i'd like to.so i'll try to hold out 12 months until it gets some battle scares

tools:
philips head screwdriver
philips head screwdriver stubby
pick.
remove:
2 screws on back edge of door trim
1 screw on front edge of door trim
4 screws down bottom edge of door trim
remove plug in door opener handle
remove screw from door opener handle
remove door opener handle, then remove the screw behind the handle
use pick the pull out red lock tab on door lock (only ned to remove half way so the slide lock slides all the way up and off.
remove screw from behind door lock and remove the plastic part the screw is in.
remove mirror sail (pull out at back edge)
pull door trim out slightly at the bottom and at the same time, slide the whole door trim upwards
the door trim should now be off the car
if you are removing the drivers door trim you'll need to pry out the power mirror switch and dissconnect it.
refitting is the reverse of everything but be aware of the plastic tag on the reverse side of the door trim (near the armrest) that it goes back into it holder.(you'll see what i mean)
if you cant figure it out let me know and i'll take some pictures
the only problem with house of kolor, besides from the price is that it doesnt cover to well (have to use heaps of it) and i dont know how you'd go repairing it later on.

I see what you mean about your car changing colour a bit. It does look lighter in the sun, from memory it looks similar to one of the original torana blue colours.
I hear what you are saying about the House of Kolor so I guess its better to let the painter sort that bit out, thats if I can find the funds to continue!
AHHH, I just noticed bumpers fitted, they look good especially without the bolts

Moot did you already finish the interior before painting and just have to put it back in?

It would be looking pretty good with the proper wheels on and the big wheels on the back.

almost all of the trim is done,so it can go in once its buffed and wired.the motor will go in soon, just waiting to finish of the manifold so i can get it dynoed
